These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.vakaro.in and the Vakaro platform (together, the "Service"), operated by Vakaro ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting our website, joining our early-access list, booking a demo, or using the Vakaro platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Service

Vakaro is a business management and point-of-sale (POS) platform intended to connect sales, billing, inventory, customers, purchases, staff, payments and reporting for businesses. Vakaro is currently in a pre-launch, early-access phase. Features, availability and pricing described on this website may change before general availability.

2. Early access & demos

Joining our early-access list or requesting a demo does not create a binding contract for paid service. It reserves your place to be contacted ahead of launch and does not guarantee access on any specific date, at any specific price, or with any specific feature set.

3. Eligibility & accounts

The Service is intended for use by businesses and individuals authorised to act on their behalf. When Vakaro accounts become generally available, you'll be responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

4. Your business data

Sales, inventory, customer, staff and other business records you enter into Vakaro belong to your business. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you record, including for GST and other tax or regulatory purposes applicable to your business.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

6. Intellectual property

The Vakaro name, logo, website and platform, and all related content and software, are owned by Vakaro or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

7. Third-party links & services

Our website may link to third-party sites (for example, our social media pages or Google Business listing). We aren't responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during this pre-launch phase, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vakaro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including the early-access programme, at any time. We'll aim to give notice where reasonably possible.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
